Next Sermon - 9:30 AM on Sunday
At For His Glory, we seek to challenge our children in such a way that, over time, they will discover who God is for themselves and through that, repent and believe in Jesus Christ. Knowing God means they must be appropriately taught the word of God.
We also seek to create an environment where our children will build life-long friendships within the church. This really is the beginning of loving one another as Jesus commanded.
We are grateful for the opportunity to serve children up to 4th grade. On Sunday mornings children will study an age-appropriate lesson, work on study-related crafts or games, and have a great time with one another. We believe in a time of family gathered worship, and this is open to all children from 3 years and up prior to checking them into their classrooms. Nursery may be checked in 15 minutes prior to service starting (9:15am).
For all of our mothers of newborns, we offer “Mother’s Corner” just outside the main sanctuary where you may nurse and entertain your young children. You have live video and audio of the service, along with comfy couches and chairs.
For walkers thru 2 years of age, we have nursery care provided. We have a safe environment with at least 2 caretakers every week available to provide for your child while you can worship.
We have a structured class for those 3 years up until the child enters First Grade. We value our time with these little ones and trust that through a short lesson and a whole lot of fun, they will grow to a better understanding of Jesus and his love for them. We have a Bible Story, related craft or games, recreation time and unstructured play time. These children participate in family worship at the beginning of service.
From 1st to 4th Grade – we have a Bible lesson which includes a short video and a time of teaching. We are currently using “The Gospel Project” which walks thru the Bible over a 2 year period. Our time includes a Bible teaching time with a short video, related activity sheets, review of a key verse and a related craft or game/application time to wrap things up. We also have recreation time. Every week we send home a card with a review of the topic of the day so that you can follow up.
These children participate in family worship at the beginning of service.
