“In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.” – Ephesians 2:22
WHY COMMUNITY GROUPS?
Community groups exist at For His Glory Community Church to support the church’s purpose of helping people to enjoy the glory of God. We do this by gathering together weekly in homes, mixing gender, age, life stage, and more, seeking Jesus and all that he has for us as individuals and as a collective body.
Our hope is that as we Live alongside one another, Love one another, and Learn with one another in smaller groups on a regular basis, we will grow more in love with Jesus and with the local body he has called us into.
Living alongside one another is simply enjoying the fellowship of other believers. In community groups this is often done over a meal and includes everyday conversation pertaining to all aspects of life.
Loving one another was part of the great commandment Christ called every believer to obey. In community groups we do this by supporting and praying for one another, providing for practical needs, and becoming like family.
Learning about God is necessary to all who follow Christ. In community groups we have a safe environment for questions to be asked and the truth to be proclaimed.
WHAT DO OUR COMMUNITY GROUPS LOOK LIKE?
Community Groups at For His Glory meet on a weekly basis while the meeting time and day of the week are specific to the individual group. During our time together, we desire to:
Eat together > Study together > Pray together > Serve together
