VISITOR

Our hope and prayer is that your visit will be a great experience. Even more than that, we pray that you will walk away sensing that your are loved by us and by the God that die for you. We hope the questions below will help you in your visit to For His Glory Community Church

When & where is your service?

Our Sunday service starts at 9:00am. We encourage you to get here a little early to settle in. We’ll have coffee brewing for you to enjoy. We are located at 704 E. Commonwealth Ave. in Fullerton, CA.  We meet in the same building as the Temple Aviv Judea.  Look for our sign.

Are services provided for my children?

Yes, we have nursery available for walkers through age 2 during service.  For kids 3 years and older we believe in a time of family gathered worship.  There will be no formal children’s programs during service with the exception of nursery.

What about my newborn?

For mother’s of infants, you are welcomed to bring them into service with you. If your infant starts to get restless, we invite you to enjoy our mother’s quiet room in the back of the sanctuary. There you can still be view and participate in service.

What does your typical service look like?

Our Sunday services have three main components: worship, prayer and the word of God. We typically open up the service with a time of family worship. This worship time includes gospel-centered songs, bible study, and communion. Typically we study through a book of the Bible in sequential weeks, taking breaks for short topical series. During this portion of the service, families are encouraged to worship with one another, giving children an opportunity to worship alongside adults. After this time of family worship, we have a short time of coffee and fellowship. At this point, we offerSunday School classes for the children and various Discipleship Classes for the adults (i.e. biblical literacy, systematic theology, church history, the meaning of marriage … etc).

What about the sacraments of communion and baptism?

We offer communion every week during our worship time. Baptisms take place from time to time as the need for believers to be baptized arises.

How should I dress?

Dress code is casual. Jeans and shorts are the norm. Dress shirt and tie is rarely spotted at FHG, but don’t let that hinder you if that’s what you are comfortable in.
